Dynamic Content: Create a Personalized Digital Experience
We have introduced Dynamic Content (also known as Transferring) to the InDesign plugin, making this powerful feature more accessible. Now, users can easily create personalized digital experiences by enabling Dynamic Content from the Publication Settings page. For detailed instructions, check out our Detailed Article on Dynamic Content.
Notes & Limitations in version 3.68
- Currently, only text frames can be made dynamic via the InDesign plugin, but support for additional elements is planned for future updates.
- All types of enrichments can be made editable programmatically upon request.
- Support for HTML tags in spreadsheet content can be enabled upon request.

Simplified UI for Easier Page Reorganization
We have streamlined the Page Setup section in the InDesign plugin, making it more intuitive and user-friendly for designers. This update improves workflow efficiency and simplifies page management.

Individual Page Backgrounds in Spreads
You can now set different backgrounds for the left and right pages of a spread. Previously, background elements—plain color, image, video, or slider—could only be applied to the entire spread. While this option remains available via the General Page Background toggle, the new version allows you to assign unique backgrounds to each page individually. This means you can mix and match elements, such as a video on one page and a slider on the other, or even use two different videos.
This feature is accessible in the InDesign plugin under Enrichments > Page > Current Page Background.
Platform
Customizable Progress Bar
We've introduced a new Progress Bar option, allowing users to enhance navigation within their publications. When enabled, a thin progress bar appears below the navigation bar, visually indicating the reader’s position as they move through the content. The bar dynamically updates, increasing or decreasing with each page turn.
Customization Options
The progress bar can be fully customized from Publication Settings > Design Tab
- Adjust the bar and track background colors using color pickers
- Configure opacity for both elements
- Apply global styling or customize settings for individual pages
This feature provides a seamless way to improve user experience and engagement.

Different Header Logo per Page
We've added the ability to set a different header logo for individual pages. This is especially useful for publications with contrasting themes, allowing you to use light or dark logo variations based on the page background.

SEO Enhancement: Structured Data for Table of Contents
We've improved SEO for publications by adding structured data from the Tab Manager to the head section of the publication. This helps search engines better understand the content structure, improving discoverability and indexing.
